Terms of Service

Last updated: August 4, 2026

The service

Encourage Us lets a purchaser set up short encouragement messages, delivered by SMS to a recipient of their choosing. Messages begin only after the recipient consents by replying YES to a single invitation text. Recipients may stop messages at any time by replying STOP, independent of the purchaser.

Your responsibilities

By providing a recipient's phone number, you confirm you know them personally and believe they would welcome the invitation. You may not use the service to harass, market to, or contact strangers. We send exactly one invitation per phone number; if the recipient does not opt in, no further messages are sent and we will offer you a correction or refund.

Billing

Plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase. If a recipient declines or never accepts the invitation, you may redirect the subscription to a different recipient or request a refund. If a recipient opts out mid-subscription, you may redirect the remaining term or cancel for a prorated credit.

Content

Our messages are encouragement, not advice. They are no substitute for medical, mental health, or professional care. If someone you love is in crisis, contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

Service changes and liability

We may update these terms and will post changes on this page. The service is provided as-is; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
